Northern Pulp carries out sustainable forestry activities on over one million acres of Nova Scotia timberlands, planting over 2.5 million trees annually.
- We supply 40% of the roundwood to major sawmills in central Nova Scotia, and purchase 90% of their chips
- Our footprint extends beyond the lands we manage. Our Debert nursery not only supplies 100% of our seedlings for regeneration, but also supplies other forestry companies within Nova Scotia with seedlings for their reforestation practices
- We are constantly seeking opportunities to provide long-term stability to Nova Scotia's forest industry
